Small Business Celebration
This is the channel as of May 13, 2025. When I started there were only 467 subscribers.
Michael Roberts owns a small, but profitable YouTube channel called “Small Business Celebration.” This channel is dedicated to interviewing small business owners in the California Central Valley and getting their thoughts on entrepreneurship, business and life. He came to me November of 2023 with a few goals:
Gain subscribers
Increase viewer time
Bring the video podcast to new groups of business owners
So far, we have done just that AND more! The channel’s subscriber count has increased, more people are watching for longer periods of time, more business owners are aware of our presence, we have added YouTube Shorts + Instagram Reels, and thanks to my suggestion we now have a blog to increase SEO to the channel.
These are some of the YouTube analytics we've experienced since I came on as producer in October of 2023.
My role consists of scheduling guests to be on the show, setting up the equipment, asking questions both on and off camera, acting as a “script supervisor” by making sure we cover everything in the interview, managing the YouTube Shorts topics through market research, looking through analytics and giving input on what we can tighten up, and blogging to increase the SEO.
